Now that I think of it I like the idea of dual type attacks

At least the way that they've been described

(In that one type gets the stab but it uses another types effectiveness)

It opens up alot of typings offensively

Imagine a steel to fighting move or poison to fire move

Not only does it improve a pokemon's coverage it's capable of being a buff to all poor offensive typings

It's actually balances all the Pokemon that have extra immunities due to ablitties.

Imagine.

A Dragon-type move.

Used by Rayquaza, because why the hell not.

And it's also a Steel- or Poison-type move.

1. GameFreak has never described them as such.

2. No.

3. I've explained why this is a ridiculously pointless system over and over again.

4. No.

5. Imagine a move that gives Steel STAB and Fighting effectiveness. Now imagine a Fighting move that Steel-types learn that is 50% stronger. Now tell me what the difference is.

6. *cries* How many times must I explain this?!

7. Did I mention no?

8. No.

1. It's what the leak describes them as
2. It's as pointless as secret sword and psystrike
3. That fighting types get another ridiculously powerful move, that's not a buff for other types it becomes a buff for fighting types

1. Lies. The leak doesn't describe them either.

2. LOLno. Stats are fluid(er). Stats are modified by EVs, of which you have a limited number. STAB is a digital on-or-off. STAB is uninfluenced by EVs.

3. So don't let Fighting-types learn it? Or just stop worrying about what Fighting-types learn because who cares? Any useful move a Pokémon learns is a potential buff to that Pokémon, regardless of what else gets buffed too.

4. No.

Dual-type moves were stated to be in according to the leak on Pokebeach. The details of how they work? Never. Pokebeach's admin believes that it'll simply be a move that changes type due to the circumstances (which would not be at all game-breaking, but it also wouldn't be anything new - we already have moves like that.)

1. Some leak said it I can't find the exact one
2. Then what's the difference between it and ablitties that grant immunities
3. A fighting type attack no fighting Pokemon can learn I respect you as a poster but that just sounds stupid.
