Big 3DS games are $40. See Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, I THINK Gates to Infinity, Paper Mario, Mario Kart, et cetera.

I'm not sure about the other two, but Luigi and the PMD piece of crap were $40

Isn't that what he said? Or are you just helping to confirm that he's telling the truth?

But that's black 2, this is the first real pokemon game on 3ds and one that makes some of the biggest changes in a long time.

Eh graphics are not sufficient reason for me to buy a game and black and white 2 actually had really good mechanics in it to lure me into it. I like rotation battles, and the game gave me a way to enjoy rotation. I like a lot of 3rd gen pokemon. This game let me use a lot of 3rd gen pokemon that were not accessible until post game in the other ones but were available in the story in this one. This game is a sequel.. The last sequel title was my favorite game in the series.

And yet I wanted Kid Icarus, Fire Emblem Awakening, Monster hunter Ultimate, Tales of the Abyss, and a few more first.

That would be a bit of a low blow from nintendo. People would pay it anyway. I would wait. It is sure to drop at that price.

Well its sure to drop at any price but not for a long time. It wouldn't drop quick at 50 because its one of the majority of reasons people are only picking up a 3ds anyway so an extra 10 wouldn't matter to them. Either way the game is 40 so we don't have to worry about that regardless.

I've been following these games since they were announced, but I have no intention of getting a 3DS until it has other games I want. Sensible people don't pay over $150 just to play one pokemon game.

For the dollar/hours spent playing ratio, I would pay $50 for this game.
