Gen 1 -The Same Damn Pokemon on every Route Gen 2- Leveling in Kanto Gen 3- The trainer battle theme(Puts me to sleep although the wild battle theme is epic) Gen 4-Slow battles,Surf routes and those god forsaken snow routes Gen 5-Honestly nothing. This gen did a good job :) --- Official Nascour of B2/W2 Boards Official Scyther of B2/W2 Boards
Gen I - Silence Bridge was super long Gen II - Friendship takes forever to increase Gen III - I didn't play it Gen IV - I can't think of anything off-hand (which is funny because IV is not even my favorite generation) Gen V - Pokemon designs looked like GARBAGE (in one case literally, lol) - Emolga was the only one I thought looked cute
Gen 1 - Unbalanced types, tonnes of bugs Gen 2 - slow levelling Gen 3 - Sea routes Gen 4 - Annoyingly long story Gen 5 - No major exploration --- Official and Original Mountain-Eating Goddamn Aggron of the Black/White Boards LoL IGN (And IGN for almost everything): Rathilal
Gen 1 - Successive large city dungeons. Rocket Hideout/Silph Co./Pokemon Tower. Gen 2 - Level spread. Kanto in particular. Low wild/high trainer was awful. They should have matched. Gen 3 - The aesthetic. I don't like the way the games look. Gen 4 - Slow battle speed. Mostly D/P/P. Gen 5 - Excessive unskippable tutorials. I did not notice this until I tried to replay B2/W2. --- I like Monster Rancher.
Didn't play Gen 1&2.. Gen 3: All the surfing you have to do. And finding Lati@s. Gen 4: The snow routes. I hate them. Gen 5: UNFEZANT USED DETECT! Seriously, I don't remember a fight I had with an Unfezant that didn't spam detect. --- I hate everything.
Gen 1 Brock if you played Yellow Version and did not use mankey or butterfree. Gen 2 Starting with Chikorita and having most of the Johto gyms be super effective against you or resist you. Would have been an awesome starter otherwise. Gen 3 Oh look water! Oh look more water! Oh look more water! Oh look Oceans! This is partially made up for by Wailord and Sharpedo existing... they are some of my favorite water types, really this gen at least had good water types to fill all that water with. Gen 4... Where to start... Gotta cook yer poffins! But more seriously the pacing. They needed something between gym 8 and the elite 4. They possibly should have delayed the Team Galactic bit until now and given you a lot of chances to level up because the champion battle and the last gym have the biggest level difference jump of any pokemon game ever. Gen 5 thankfully fixed this but seriously its like 43 and then your expected to be able to handle 4 trainers all of which get as high as 61 - 62 and then fight Cynthia who has a level 67 garchomp who is carrying a berry to halve ice damage if i remember right. Uhg! Gen 5 I am actually having difficulty thinking of one for this... I guess I will complain about that ice mountain place... I am really grasping for what to complain about but that place sucks. Its like a maze to go threw if you do not know the right path, its all designed to waste tons of your time if you want to battle everyone and get all the items and its full of boldores with sturdy. --- Rotom Fan With an Air Balloon YO DOG i heard you like yo Rotom's High. So i gave it a balloon so it can be fly while he high while he way up in the sky! Dog!
gen 1- exp.all, huge item limit for bag/pc gen 2- mareep not in crystal, internal batteries all dead so i cant save anymore gen 3- catch rates were ridiculous gen 4- battles took too long, why so slow? also HG/SS **** that garbage gen 5- the games sucked --- the official BAT DRAGON of the pokemon X/Y boards
