It's a sun team so I use offensive Ninetales. Tyranitar can't switch into a +2 HP Ground which is nice.
Charizard (M) @ Life Orb Trait: Solar Power EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Air Slash - Fire Blast - SolarBeam - Roost
Charizard is my favorite starter, but it's also good competitively which is nice. I use it to burn through teams, with Roost as recovery and the 3 moves as coverage.
Electivire (M) @ Expert Belt Trait: Motor Drive EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd Lonely Nature (+Atk, -Def) - Flamethrower - ThunderPunch - Earthquake - Cross Chop
Seriously, is there anything this thing doesn't hit super effectively? It also makes people think twice before they hit Charizard with Electric moves, which is nice and it gives me more of a punch for Politoed, which also is nice.
Venusaur (M) @ Life Orb Trait: Chlorophyll EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Growth - Giga Drain - Sludge Bomb - Hidden Power [Fire]
This is the standard fare, if the other team doesn't have weather then I usually sweep with this because all it needs is a turn to Growth and it KOs everything.

Added Excadrill because I need a Rapid Spinner and also a physical sweeper. Thoughts?
