Hopefully no transfer from previous gen! That would open potential for transferring illegal stats pokesav pokemons which would suck.

And what about the people who worked hard on there pokemon? There's going to be a 6th gen pokesav/gen anyways so not being able to transfer wouldn't do anything to hackers

Chances are slim for a 6th gen pokesav to popup easily. As Nintendo is taking it seriously against flashcarts releasing frequent updates and no flashcarts= no pokesav.

You clearly have no idea what you are talking about. A device that backs up a save to a PC doesn't need to be in the 3DS to have the save altered. Even now, there are devices to back up saves that work like a USB flashdrive(for gamecards) to a PC. Which are ofcourse editted on the PC and sent back to the cart.

Currently playing: Pokemon Plat/HG(492/492, 5 Star Black Trainer Cards), Street Fighter 3(Xbox online sparingly)

Well. Been speaking of it the way pokesav used to work for DS. The possibility of sending a .sav file of 3DS and altered on pc by a pokesav then sent back to the SD card and put on 3DS haven't happened yet. It's a possibility though.

It will happen, it's only a matter of time depending on how complicated the code is. But we digress. The point is that the ability to transfer from previous generations appears to be priority for GF, TPCI, and Nintendo, not only because it's important to us, but because it's important to the production team. If there's a way to do it, they'll make it happen, even if an app is required to do so. Just because we're all afraid of hacked Pokemon doesn't mean everyone should be disallowed from transferring over their hard-earned and raised Pokemon from Gen III, IV, and V.
