Got red and Blue with my first gameboy in 1998. IT was the second regular game I'd ever asked for as a gift, the first being Starcraft.

Me. I originally held out on getting Pokemon Red (I had a Game Boy Color and a bit of a graphics whore, so I felt a black/white Game Boy game was somehow unworthy of my shine new handheld) but once I finally got it I was immediately completely hooked.

I knew people who had Red and Blue when it came out, but I didn't get my first pokemon game until Diamond.

I was born in 87, started with blue, red, yellow then silver, sapphire, pearl and soul silver, my DS broke and didn't bother with another one, for what I have seen Im not missing much.

I dont like being labeled as a 90's kid, the 90's were lame, the only good thing was when it was over and started the rise of the internet
