How would you all feel about that?

Some examples:

Gardevoir would be Fairy/Water
Absol would be Dark/Fire
Lopunny would be Normal/Fairy
Gyarados would be Water/Fire
Swellow would be Flying/Grass
Mienfoo would be Fighting/Ice
Cresselia would be Psychic/Ice

Although I wouldn't know what to do with Dewgong and Garchomp. Maybe they wold retain their type.

Uhh...dont know how i feel.
I mean itd be cool since shinies are so damn rare, would really give them that extra "wow unique" factor; but i feel like theres too many ways for that too go wrong, and i feel like some just wouldnt make sense.

Cool idea tc, but id say No.

Would this mean some pokemon get 3 types? charizard - fire/flying/dark?
also shiny pokemon that are multicolored, get like 17 types?

no goots no.

that would be really confusing and cop outs for unique typings...

I mean let's say charizard, he turns black when shiny, that would mean he would be dark/flying or dark/fire

see that just gets confusing

Nope. Like in the case with Gyarados it would keep its one.

Multicolored ones like Milotic would be difficult to type. I guess I should've given this a bit more thought.

If I can memorize 649 Pokemon a few type changes wouldn't be so hard to remember, Pan.
