There's a pattern on it: 1st(Kanto) - Brand new Pokemon set introduced 2nd(Johto) - Evolutions of previous gens with some new Pokemon added 3rd(Hoenn) - Another new set of Pokemon introduced 4th(Sinnoh) - Another new evolutions of previous gens introduced with more or less new Pokemon 5th(Unova) - Yet another new set of Pokemon introduced
As you see, the odd gens are the ones with new Pokemon, while the even gens are the ones with evolutions of the new Pokemon. Do you think this gen will have evolutions of previous-gens too(1 is revealed so far)?
Also, Eeveelutions are apparently added based on even gens, except the gen where Eevee was introduced(1st gen, has innate 3 Eeveelutions). --- Official Nozomi and Trumpeter of the SMT4 board. This generation will actually determine for us if this pattern exists or not, so it should be interesting. --- Go to Gamestop, buy a Steam card, and use it to purchase Ys Origin. You won't be disappointed. No news now-

Considering the mega evolutions, it's pretty much confirmed they have a concentrated effort on buffing/evolving previous gen pokemon. Possibly more than any previous generation. --- >Implying I don't actually know 3DS FC: 3308 4781 6052
