I got a Haunter and Magmar back in the third grade. hadn't even heard of the brand before that, but learned of it full well the next few days after. Still two of my favorite Pokemon.

Sure do. A Charmander card that I got in 4th grade for trading my lunch pizza to this one obese rich kid. Still have it till this day (14 years). My very first rare was Charizard. At the time I knew nothing about Pokemon and just liked the monsters. Then, when I opened up my second pack, I got another Charizard. I distinctly remember being disappointed that I got the same one twice. --- Alex

My first deck was Misty's gym deck. The first card is whatever happens to be the first in the deck, which I obviously forgot. It was the Japanese deck too.
