First off Charmander won the fire starter competition.

Now, this has to do with their entire line, but it is up to you which one you think is the best. It could be solely on stats, appearance, usage, or whatever. All I want to know is which one do you think is the best?

Note:

I know we don't know much about the 6th gen starters, but I felt the need to give them a chance. I should have probably waited until after X and Y were out to do this, but it's too late now.

I like Totodile the best because I think it's the coolest imo. I like Oshawott because otters are awesome, but I dont like its evolutions much.

Squirtle, because he and Blastoise are just total bros.

I wanna say Mudkip, but I'm fond of Piplup as well, but I think in the end, Swampert fulfills the most of its potential. I feel like Empoleon could've had much better potential as a Water/Steel, but oh well.

But he is a water/steel?

I like Oshawott mostly because of his evolutions. As a stand alone Pokemon, Totodile wins.

As anti-nostalgia as I am, and as much as I really do love Totodile, if final forms (aka, the ones we're going to get stuck with in the end) are to be taken into account, Blastoise's only big competition to me is Empoleon, with Squirtle winning over Piplup for me.

I think he means "Due to Empoleon being a water/steel, I felt he could have had more potential than he actually does."
