Anyone else really glad that a rage quit equals a loss?

I sure am, my win to lose ratio is so bad because whenever I am about to win the other guy rage quits, but I never rage quit myself so it looks like i lose a lot more than I win

No because whenever someone asks me to do something or asks me to put my phone down, I lose.

I'm happy for this change as well. Hopefully now battling online will be more pleasant.

I admit that in those circumstances it can be a problem, but this would have been the only sensible way to deal with the ragequit problem.

This may actually draw me to battle online more often.

During those situations you should have forfeited anyways.

Was there ever a time limit for choosing your move when playing online? Because if there wasn't and they don't add it this time either, you could just leave your 3DS and do something else whenever you were about to lose and have your opponent eventually disconnect with a loss.

This would be a big problem.

While some people have legitimate reasons to quit, most people just do it to avoid a loss on their record. This is very much appreciated and needed.

I believe there was a time limit before.

And if they forget to add it, they could just patch it in later on.
