It's been a blast all the way through, and while I'm no genwunner, my favorite Pokemon times were those early days of Red and Blue when the highly imperfect, unattractive games they are by today's standards were AMAZING. When my head was full of Pokemon, and so was everything else. That initial fad where the Pokemon brand was on EVERYTHING and we recorded episodes of the anime off TV on Saturday morning... good times.
I'm not a GRRL gamer; I'm just another kid who had a Nintendo and never grew out of it.
My first game was Silver, but to me, every single new game has been the best they could offer. I've been hyped for every game since, yeah, B/W weren't that great in my opinion, but I still think they were all great games!
Official Chespin of GameFAQs! :3 No, I am not going to run, I am not going to hide, I am going to take a stand and fight!
R/S/E, because that's when it felt new again for me, and all my friends got into it again too. For some reason, I mostly didn't like 2nd gen even though everyone seems to love it to death. I'm hoping X/Y would be the same, but most of my friends don't have a 3ds lol... oh well, I still think it'll top 3rd gen for me though... not saying 5th gen wasn't good, I loved it.
Everything in life is a battle. Even peace itself is a battle to maintain it.
Always a fan of the dog trio time, myself. That was around the time Pokemon felt new to me, no longer black and white, etc. New excitement there. Not necessarily best of the series, but best time I had playing it, trying to catch those guys.
