Why are Flying attacks SE against Fighting pokemon?

A combat jet will prevail on an armored tank because of mobility.

If you're directly relating a jet to Flying and tank to Fighting types, it makes even less sense because a tank is probably one of the strongest things on the ground defensively, everything else can be obliterated by jets with greater ease.

This would mean that Flying types should be even more super effective against all other types besides Fighting.

Well if TC is obviously not gonna be satisfied with any of our responses then all that is left is the Chewbacca Defence...

Chewbacca is from Kashyyyk but lives on Endor, THAT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE...

You are asking for reasons why a fictional character type does well against another fictional character type, THAT ALSO DOES NOT MAKE SENSE

When something does not make sense, you must acquit and give up...

I'm already fairly sure it doesn't make sense, but was wondering if I was wrong or if many other people were aware of it.

The only arguments I've heard so far for flying attacks wrecking fighting pokemon would also apply to most/all other pokemon types.

Maybe it's just pshycological and it's just a phobia, not a weakness

I'm gonna go with the pecker theory. Fighting types are big, macho guys. They can act tough most of them time, but present them with a pecker and watch them get all scared and hilariously badly defensive. Bam, Peck does double damage.

I always saw it as strong gusts knocking the fighting types off balance.
