f their secondary types are types that were introduced later on. Dark and Steel were the two types introduced in Gen II, and Fairy is the type introduced in Gen VI.

It does seem to make sense, too. Steel for a knight, Fairy for a spellcaster, Dark for a rogue/ninja.

You overlook the fact that not all armor is made of metal, and Psychic is a "supernatural" type while not all fae have would be considered magical.

I'm not saying they can't be other types, just that it makes sense. Psychic is more of a "brain power" type than a spellcasting type, so fairy fits better, I think. Anyway I just wanted to point out that if those three secondary types would have the pattern of being the only three types introduced later on as opposed to being part of the original 15 types.
