If Blaziken attacks on the turn you use Dragon Dance you lose though. Basically 50/50 prediction even though the Charizard is specifically built to beat the Blaziken. Furthermore if the Blaziken is more focused on defenses (which it would be if specifically built for this 1v1 with a Charizard) and holds a coba berry I'm not sure sky drop + Air Slash would be enough to 2 hit it.

EDIT: in your example Charizard also loses if Blaziken uses quick attack on the turn you use Sky drop.

And of course I spend too long typing that and get ninja'd.

If you don't invest in speed for Blaziken then Zard will be able to outrun the first 2 turns w/o a Choice Scarf. You'd have to double Protect and can still run a Focus Sash on Zard to live a SE. Blaziken will have a opening to be 2HKOd and you can run one of Zard's flying moves as well as Quick attack. CS Charizard can outrun in the first 3 turns and Zard can also run Choice Specs/Band(with the SE Earthquake or Bulldoze) and say GGs to Blaziken w/o that speed investment Blaziken will not be able to outspeed so easily. You could go max Spd and HP but w/o Focus Sash you'll get 1 shotted while Charizard will be able to take a hit.

Let's throw rocks at TC and Charizard.

Super effective at both.

Also if Blaziken uses QA on Charizard's Sky Drop turn he can Quick attack on the Charizard used Anything turn

My Calculations show that Blaziken doesn't fall to 1 HP on the Sky Drop turn but QA does just enough damage so it'll gurantee Blaziken is finished off. Blaziken cannot 2HKO Zard with its own QA.

Again with the assumptions of the player playing the way you say they will. And again it results in a 50/50 odds at best.

So, what I'm understanding from this topic is that if a Charizard user controls/perfectly predicts a Blaziken user, and the Blaziken user cannot control/fails to ever properly predict Charizard, Charizard wins?

Uhh, that can apply for very, very many 1 v 1 matchups

The Zard user also needs to be carrying moves they wouldn't normally even consider as well, whereas the Ken user can just go in with a standard set and still be in a prime position to win.
