Which typing would be better for Froakie's final evo?

So it seems based on various leaks and/or popular speculation, that Froakie will end up either Water/Fighting or Water/Dark.

Which of these combos would be better for it? It seems like a Dark sub-typing would be better, but I'm not really sure..

It'll probably be water/dark so fire can be fire/fighting (again) and grass can be grass/psychic so each final evo has a chance to take out the other with SE attack on their secondary type.

I could also see it being a water/poison (poisonous frog kinda thing)



*edit got it mixed up. water/fighting, fire/psychic, and grass/dark it would have to be to reverse it

That reinforces the weaknesses, it doesn't reverse it.

I'm confused as to how that would reverse the weakness when Fire/Psychic would pretty much be at 4 X disadvantage against Water/Dark and in reverse Grass/Fighting would be at a 4X disadvantage to Fire/Psychic.

Water/Dark, Fire/Psychic, Grass/Fighting. Adds interesting types and keeps the 'Starter Triangle' intact.
