I've beaten many different Pokemon games with a full team of six, and it really isn't as hard as people say it is. I don't really see a problem with having a full team, but I think his team can be improved in other areas regardless.

I have defeated the E4 in every past game within 24 hours of starting, with a full team of 6, all of whom were overleveled.
