Is Froakie an epic fail?

#1Fritz0x24Posted 9/26/2013 7:10:34 AM
Not really sure but from the research that I've been doing, it seems that Froakie will be quite unbalanced for most of the game. The start seems to have you deal with grass pokemon more, so Fenekin seems to be the best choice for a starter.

This might change at the end, when things start to balance out, but I'm just giving a heads up.

Then just use the event Torchic or get another fire poke.

What you mean is that Froakie will an Epic Yarn! (As in really easy yet beautiful to look at?)

I don't think so. I never thought of Charmander that way even though he got his ass beat by the first two gyms back in the day.

And with the interviews stating that there will be a greater variety of pokemon available in the early routes, it seems like your starter choice won't be as significant/possibly devastating as it was in the past.

Yeah, while Kirby's Epic Yarn wasn't the standard Kirby style (because it wasn't a kirby game originally), it was really easy to look at

But yeah...I'm quite sure Froakie being Water won't matter much. People managed to use Charmander in Gen 1, where the first 2 gyms were super effective against it...

Not really....I mean Ash will probably have it in the anime (although sometimes he is a bit of a fail)

His water types actually seem to be one of his best Pokemon.
