Do we know Florges's Base Stat Total yet?

#1Tee_DotPosted 10/6/2013 9:23:42 AM
Out of all the Fairy-type Pokemon introduced this gen, Florges is probably my favourite.

I know she has high Special Attack and Special Defence and her stats appear to be very similar to Gardevoir's, but has anyone actually worked out her base stat total yet?

Also do we know if 'Flower Veil' is her only ability? Because, let's face it, it's really not the greatest of abilities and I can see it's usefulness being extremely limited. Grass and Fairy have very poor offensive and defensive synergy with one another so it's unlikely they'll be paired for Double Battles. Holding out for 'Pixilate'; we're still not sure who actually gets that ability yet, right?

I went "oh crap" when I saw the stats.

Then I realized it was only level 19. I'm assuming that Flabebe evolves early on, and Floette needs a stone to evolve?

While Poison and steel wall the both of them Fairy and Grass move scare the following

Dragon
Fighting
Dark
Water
Grass
Rock

All 6 of those are common type in the meta game

For a NFE Florge is actually very good.

I have high hope for this Pokemon.

Florges isn't a Fairy/Grass though.

It'll be interesting to see how she turns out. She has wicked Special stats and access to Recover as well, but her ability lets her down a lot. Hopefully she has access to another one.

Well she definitely seems like a more Specially Defensive Gardevoir. Thought as much. Wonder how diverse her movepool will be. Aside from Recover, we haven't really seen what other viable moves she has available. Can see her having access to a lot of support moves, like Reflect, Light Screen and Aromatherapy. Maybe even Sleep Powder and Stun Spore.
