You can influence the nature and IVs through the parents and specific items. It's more complicated than you think.

Hmm, I would assume it is more complicated...honestly, I have never actually tried this and have just dealt with bad natures...I have many starters on Black and White 2 which I wanna port over to X/Y eventually (example: Dragon Dance Feraligatr) but if natures are that difficult then I might just leave it alone and just EV train stuff
