From a post I saw before Honedge evolves into Doublade by defeating another Honedge in battle while leveling then I guess you use a dusk stone as stated above for Aegislash.

Stance change looks like in interesting ability. I wonder how it will effect his stats? (50% increase to def/spD when in shield form perhaps?)

Smogon calculated the stats as follows:

#681 - Aegislash (Ghost/Steel)
Base 60/150/60/150/60/60 (Sword Stance)
Base 60/60/150/60/150/60 (Shield Stance)


That's a massive jump.

WHOA THAT'S CRAZY!!! Those stats combined with its arguably best defensive typing in the game (3 immunities, 9 resistances, only 4 2x super effective, no 4x super effective) are unreal. Without the nerf to steal it would only have two super effective attacks against it!! It just can't use attacking moves I guess, lol. Can't wait to see it's moveset
