#1Champ2013Posted 10/11/2013 8:40:29 PM
Why! I am still pumped for Pokemon X tho :) My favorite pokemon out of this generation is...

Helioptile

Heliolisk is going to be #2 most used in my game[when i get it in 2 weeks :( ] #1 most used will be Delphox :) then probably Xerneas.

This will be my group:

Delphox
Heliolisk
Xerneas
Charizard
Mewtwo
Talonflame[or Pyroar]

68 actually. The only thing I'm annoyed now that they didn't make these new Pokemon have a higher encounter rate.

Only 69 "new" pokemon, the regional dex actually contain 450ish pokemon that is a mish mash of every generation. Also it's only 69 if you don't count megas.

Because...they're different to the game?

Wait 68? It starts at 650 and ends at 718. 650 is 1 and 651-718 is 68 more.

But they aren't actually new Pokemon they're just new forms of them.

Well considering most of the other games added a crap ton of basically rehashes with "pre evos" and babies and all that stuff . . I think Mega's are just as eligible for counting as another generation. If you took out a lot of the fluff of the other generations the real pokemon count would be pretty similar. I think the Megas add enough strategic depth to make up for only 69 real pokemon.

No they are evolutions it's even in their name. They are a new type of evolution method yes, but they are evolutions none the less. The only true difference you have is one is temporary but the trade off is that for being temporary they were able to be made much stronger.

It's basically the line between a new form and a new evolution, it fits into both and is the way this generation chose to give new evolutions to old pokemon but not deal with all the whinning of how their old pokemon had been tainted.
