Best nature for a Mega Y Mewtwo?

#1Crimsin_GibletPosted 10/16/2013 9:07:21 PM
Would the best nature for a Mewtwo Y still be Timid?

Depends on whether you want to hit fast (Timid) or just plain damage (Modest). I prefer Timid just so it has the possibilty to outspeed things.

I'd go with Timid

Well, isn't Mewtwo pretty squishy?
#5WydisPosted 10/17/2013 10:00:21 PM
Timid. Mewtwo is literally -the- most overpowered pokemon there is already, with blistering speed, demented sp. atk, oh, and it's /not/ frail, it's at worst average in defenses. It already outspeeds /nearly/ everything, and it'll OHKO regardless, so go for speed. If you can't win battles with a freaking mewtwo, you just can't win.

IVs? EVs? Natures? Teambuilding? Movesets? Items? A basic understanding of types? None of this matters, just throw 6 mewtwos in your team and headbutt the 3DS until you have a few billion wins...

...which should kill about five minutes.

Well, generally Timid. You can do some sort of mixed and run with Naive or Hasty and surprise some folk.

Surprise people? Why? That's like wearing a party hat whilst stabbing someone to death. Sure, it'll perplex them, but they're still bleeding to death painfully regardless.

For that matter, your only potential concern is the mewtwo that your opponents will have, so remember to grab shadow ball. Beyond that, I think you can figure out /using/ mewtwo (protip: headbutt the screen).

In fact, killing other Mewtwos is the only reason to bother with natures to begin with.
