Manetric, Aerodactyl, Kangaskhan, Gardevior, and Medicham all deserve mention.

Houndoom was screwed in the ability.

The outlook for Gardevoir's competitive viability is actually pretty bad.

Serebii's new estimate has it's special attack come down from 175 to 165.

Even before that 100 Speed is not enough for a Pokemon that will still go down in 1 neutral physical attack.

And it doesn't learn anything that makes Pixilate actually worth having as an ability. The only move in the game that would make Pixilate not terrible, is Boomburst, which there is no evidence Gardevoir can learn.

They didn't give Gardevoir Quiver Dance which it really needed, or any other moves that are useful.

Yes I'm pretty upset.

It's inevitable that it will gain ground with time, though.

Gengar and Mawile are really the only two worth much of anything. Maybe Lucario too.

Mega Aggron? Mega kangashkahn?

I would like for Gardevoir to be competitively dangerous.

I just don't see how it's going to happen with its stats and its available moves.

Aggron is an excellent Physical Tank, Kangaskhan still isn't worth anything. Subpar stats, movepool, and typing. Parental Bond doesn't do much to save it.

I figured that much, I wasn't sure if parental bond could save it or not. But my point about aggron still stands.

I don't get why they even gave it that ability. For what, Hyper Voice? Moonblast or whatever is stronger.

And why it can't learn Quiver Dance confuses the hell out of me.
