I swear every song except the pokecentre and gym battle music is rip straight from Chrono Trigger.

Well, the overworld themes do have a Chrono Trigger/Dragon Quest feel to them.

Personally, I love it's Dragon Quest feel. The music was the first thing that stood out to me.
