What's a good nature for Yveltal?

I'm gonna be catching him soon.

Modest is best

Yeah, I'd go Modest or possibly Timid. Try to get the 31 IVs in HP, SpAtk and Speed

Really? Looking at its stats, it looks like it could pass as a physical OR special attacker to me.

I just realized that my party is full. Is there a way to check its nature without being at a PC?

Also how do I check IVs?

It's true you COULD go mixed attacker, yeah

But its signature move is extremely good and is Special, so imo it's best to focus on Special

If you go the mixed attacker route something like Naive or Rash would probably be best

Unfortunately, there's no way to check its Nature immediately after catching it due to another fight

I recommend putting a Synchroniser of the nature you want at the lead of your party, since that'll give it a 50% chance of getting it.

You have the option of adding it to your party before returning to the PC.

Use http://www.metalkid.info/Pokemon/Calculators/IV.aspx to estimate IVs. Guess the nature if it isn't apparent.

It's also worth noting that every time you catch Yveltal, it's guaranteed to have perfect 31 IVs in three random stats.
