Instead of giving everyone who appeared in the battle 100% exp and everyone who did 50%, it would've (IMO) been much better if it gave a fraction of the exp to each pokemon, and give the bigger fractions to the lower leveled pokemon to balance the team. Or even just make it an option when you choose exp share or a different item.

No, the exp share works perfectly right now. RBY exp all was a waste of an item slot.

I would have preferred if we could select which Pokemon it would apply to, but it's kind of cool how it works now.

They should remove pokemon lvl.

This game should only let trainer lvl up and by doing so each lvl trainer gain they gain stats point.. so everyone can build differently.

Just my opinion.

It makes grinding a lot less tedious. If you want a challenge, there's always the option of turning it off.

Just stating how I would've prefered exp share. It'd be a lot more useful because the current exp share unbalances the party a lot and I used exp share in other gen's for the purpose of balancing my party.

It really doesn't though. All of my Pokemon remained just a few levels apart from one another except for a Pangoro I got from Wonder Trade which ended up being 10 levels higher than everything else. You've just got to rotate who you use instead of using one Pokemon for attacking.

Yes, I know. But let's say you have a full party and only 1 or 2 of your pokemon have super effective moves against the next gym. Normally you'd be using those pokemon and not be using the ones that aren't good against that gym's type. That's where the old exp share comes in use. You'd let the pokemon you won't be using just for that gym get some exp too without having to use it. The new exp share seems to be mostly for difficulty. This is just my attempt at making exp share more than just a simple difficulty switch.
