Life Orb deals about 8% more damage than Expert Belt on SE attacks, and 30% more on non-SE attacks. So Life Orb if you wanna maximize damage, and Expert Belt if LO recoil sounds too risky (Greninja isn't very bulky to begin with).

I would probably just have two different Greninjas, one physical and one special. You've already got the pokemon for it. Then you can choose whichever one depending on what you think you need.

It depends on what you want.

If you don't want the recoil and don't mind sacrificing a bit of constant power, pick Expert Belt.

If you want the extra power and can mitigate the recoil, use Life Orb.

Alternatively, you could run a Lum Berry instead to prevent getting hit with a nasty status or a Flying Gem if you want to run Acrobatics (as it would get STAB on it thanks to Protean)

Then, there's Focus Sash lead or revenge killer.

Greninja can do so much it's insane.

I only run Mild because I plan on going with U-Turn for momentum.

Timid if you are using a sp sweeper Greninja.

Naive if using a mixed U-turning set.
The mixed set works best with entry hazards and is good with Spikes or Poison Spikes both of which Greninja can learn.

Yes, regular Spikes might be better as they can, block an incoming Electric move but both are good as they rack up damage on the opponent from switches.
