(We all know that Ghost got the best buff)

These 5 were the ones who were either NVE/weak to fairy or lost resistances. So which type do you think got the worst nerf?

Steel. Lost two type resistances.

IMO I'd also say Steel.

Dragons can still swat away fairies with other coverage moves.
Dark got a buff against Steel and an indirect one, now that Dark and normal are the only Ghost resisters.
Fighting types can learn Poison moves to beat Fairies.
Bug gets Sticky web

Steel, on the other hand, lost two resistances, gained 1, and got an SE. Except that Poison is also SE against Fairies and poison moves seem more widely distributed, which kind of makes Steel's SE less useful unless it's STAB.

STAB = Same Type Attack Boost: a Pokemon that uses a move that matches its type gets a 50% attack boost.

OU means OverUsed. It's a tier in competitve battling. A tier that's based on how often people use the particular Pokemon in battle.

But to answer TC's question, I'd have to say Dragon. It's now weak against another type, and switching in any fairy will instantly negate any damage. That's a HUGE nerf.

I've found that I'm not using Dragons as much as I used to, but I still think Steel was nerfed most.
Had it still resisted Dark and Ghost, Aegislash would be the most broken Pokemon in the game.

However, I'm glad Steel is a bit more of an offensive type with Fairy types now.

It depends on whether Poison or Steel is better at hitting Fairies.

It's pretty close between Dragon and Steel. Losing two resistances is pretty big.. especially in the case of Metagross and Jirachi who just gained two weaknesses in what was otherwise a fantasic defensive typing. Despite this, steel is still the go-to defensive typing and is one of only two types that has an edge over fairies.

Dragon is completely checked by fairies. Even if a lot of fairies aren't much to write home about, being completely immune to Dragon AND being threatened by SE STAB really changes how many dragons are going to play. Outrage is now pretty risky if you don't take care of enemy fairies.
