So girls get to wear shirt and tie and a pair of pants, but what about guys?

Girls can wear what ever they want, trench coats, skirts, sporty stuff, t-shirts. Boys have literally nothing but casual cloths, our only formal looking cloth is a shirt that is sold in lumiose, which doesn't even look close to a real life formal cloth.

What a shame...

Guys get fedoras, friend-zones and low self-esteem in this game.

But honestly, not sure what the deal is with that. There's always room for add-ons, I suppose?

Nope, girls also get fedoras. I have several of them in various colors.

I was being sarcastic. My character is female because I assumed there'd be more fashion options for female players, since I'm sure Game Freak didn't think male gamers would care as much about the fashion in the game.

They shouldn't have generalized males like they did, but whatever.

i want shirt and tie too, that girl i battled with was wearing. But for some reason guys can't wear shirt and tie.

Also girls in this game can look like adults with proper clothing, but boys always look like a 12 year weebo who thinks having popped collars makes you look cooler.

Yeah, I'm halfway through the circuit and starting over for this reason. Male customization options suck.
