These would be true evolutions, while Mega Evolutions, visually, are almost the same Pokémon with a few enhancements.

But most of thee 3 stage lines are already strong.
Which means the stand-alones and 2 staged lines get nothing, while the strong get stronger.

4-stage for bug-types only, making them viable.


EDIT: Obviously not all bug-types but some people don't really think logically so I'm adding this just in case.

Absolutely not.
Almost every third-stage Pokemon would be obscenely broken with Eviolite.
Could you imagine Reuniclus with that kind of boost? Or better yet, Tyranitar?
