You need to expose your Pokemon to the moon at midnight.

One simply doesn't get Pokerus cured. However, if you leave the Pokemon in your party and wait a few days it'll no longer be contagious.

Did that specifically. It still won't go away.

Once a pokemon has Pokerus it cannot 'lose' it. It however can be 'cured'. What this means is that it will stop passing Pokerus to other party pokemon.

To cure pokerus, just have the infected pokemon in your party and let the clock reset at midnight.
This will 'cure' pokerus (It will still have it, denoted by the small face on the info tab.), and no longer pass it to other pokemon.

Take your 3DS and smash it against the floor 5x.

That should work.

So it's still possible?

Pokerus doubles EV gain by battling monsters. There is no reason that you would want to lose it.

But if you really did want to, leave any and all infected pokes in your party, wait for in-game midnight to pass, and the pokerus on those pokemon will go inert - you will still get the effects of pokerus, but it won't be contagious.
