How the hell do you get extra Thunder Stones?

#1BridgemanzPosted 11/2/2013 4:44:38 AM
So I need a Raichu. Problem is I don't have Thunder Stones and after checking the locations listed on Serebii, I still couldn't find any. Which is weird, because there are three and I'm pretty positive I've only used two throughout the game. But whatever.

Then someone suggested I could get a Thunder Stone in the Secret Super Training "Follow Those Fleeing Goals!". So, I painstakingly put myself through that agonizing Super Training until I finally unlocked the Secret Super Training.

Now, I've done "Follow Those Fleeing Goals!" twenty or so times, each time beating the target time. And each time I only get a Soda Pop, Stardust, or a Hard Rock.

So how exactly do you get a Thunder Stone? I feel like I've wasted my time with these ridiculous minigames.

I think that the only way to get them is to keep doing the minigame. It sucks, but I think that-

"There's no other way! You have to do dat."

Sells only Water, Fire and Leaf. Terrible choice there.

I feel your pain. I'm left handed to it is incredibly painful/awkward for me to do Super Training. If you intend on completing as much of the Pokedex as possible it gets a lot worse too. You'll need to do much harder stages than the Thunder Stone one to obtain more moon/sun/dusk/dawn/shiny stones. And when it can take 10+ tries just to get one..... x_x

Fellow lefty here. I used a Pikachu that I played through the game with who seemed to get balanced special and physical attack EVs with the rest primarily in speed. The rapid fire type with high energy regen means full points every hit and is perfect for blind spamming on the bottom screen. I'm assuming this is true of any rapid fire type so if you're not using one this will help

I don't understand the logic in this at all. The store in b2/w2 sold fire, water, leaf, thunder, dusk, dawn, shiny, and oval stones depending on your version, why the step back?
