Wouldn't mind trying a Wonderlocke run, but would I be able to start a new game on a different SD card or would I need to buy another game?
PS I own a physical copy if that makes any difference. --- 3DS FC: 5429 6762 5357

no, you can only have one save at a time, to keep it simple the game uses codes to prevent mutliple saves on different cards.

If you had the digital version I think you could, by copying the contents of the SD card to your desktop, then just deleting your data. Works with Fire Emblem Awakening --- Want the classic look? http://www.gamefaqs.com/?throwback=1 Then go to your setting and change to whichever you want

From how I understand it, the games use a checksum feature to determine if the save file is valid, so if the number matches between the game and the save then it will work. So if you create a new save game, then your old save will never be valid again. Some data is stored to the 3ds itself, and you can't access that to make your old save work again. It was the same in animal crossing, there is no way to have more than 1 active save at a time.

And to add the data is saved on the game card not on the sd card for physical copies of the game the only thing that save to the game card is the photos you take --- My 3DS FC: 1332-7692-1950 AC: New Leaf dream code: 7200-2427-9939
