Both have black and red palette swaps desired for their coolness, with extremely subtle shiny Pre-evos.

Though occurred while masuda-ing for a froakie. Gave up after 300 for flabebe. Any recommendations?

I thought Shiny Charmander and Charmeloen were both gold.

Umm... isn't it silverish blue?

Growlie is indeed silver blue as opposed to aqua, but charmander's gold is more a pale yellow, somewhat similar to the natural pale orange it has. Actually lost a shiny charmander that way when I was hunting for one back in 2005.
