Friend Safari Shiny?

#1MaruKazeryuPosted 11/6/2013 3:10:16 PM
I'm thinking about rounding my RWBY team out with shiny mega mawile as Nora...I've heard people saying there seems to be a higher shiny rate in the friend safari, and am wondering if it's worth my time.

Yes, Safaris do give shinies at ridiculous rates. More so than the Masuda Method.

I've caught three shinies there now, but even with increased odd, there's no saying you'll get what you want. Usually the pokemon you want is the 3rd spot pokemon in a safari, thus being the rarest. So for instance, I've spent 9 hours in a Hawlucha safari without a shiny, but even if I found a shiny, it'd more likely be a Doduo or Woobat.
