I omitted the "Swords of Justice" Pokémon since it's technically not a trio (Keldeo makes four, even if it is an Event Pokémon).

Also I admit that, unless I'm mistaken, there's been no official confirmation that Zygarde is grouped with Xerneas and Yveltal to form a trio. However, I think there's enough evidence to make the assumption that they are. Besides, every generation since the second one have had at least one legendary trio. I can't imagine Game Freak would break the pattern now.

You forgot about Cobalion, Terrakion, and Virizion.

Keldeo doesn't count as part of the trio because it doesn't end with -ion like the rest do.

Going by this logic, Regirock, Regice, and Registeel shouldn't be included since they have Regigigas as a fourth member.

Except Regigigas is a "trio master," it leads the group and has been portrayed as such by GF. Keldeo is a part of the group in the most traditional sense as it's shown forming a quartet that has been recognized by GF itself. So there's a difference in treatment.

So it's not related because it lacks a suffix, nevermind that story-wise and concept-wise the group is highly connected otherwise. What sense does that make?

Hmm....

All right then. I either need to omit the Regi group or include the "Swords of Justice" group minus Keldeo. What say you, Pokémon X community?

Ari917's comments reflect my line of thinking. Maybe I should leave my poll as is.

No you don't. Read the post above yours. Is Arceus included in the Space time antimatter trio? If not, don't include Regigigas. He leads the trio in the same way Arceus leads his. Keldeo does not lead the musketeers. He is a musketeer. The fourth member of the musketeers.

Okay then, I'll stick with my original post. If people disagree with it, I guess they shouldn't vote.
