I recently became the Electric Gym Leader of my local Pokemon League. I'm trying to build a team of Pokemon that I like (hence why rotom-c made the cut and not rotom-w... I dislike that thing) but can still do well against more commonly used pokemon. Anything with a '?' behind it is what I need advice on. My current line-up is...
Galvantula Nature: Timid Ability: Unnerve Item: Damp Rock
Sticky Web Rain Dance Volt Switch Energy Ball
Main purpose is to set up Sticky Web and Rain Dance, obv. Went with unnerve because compoundeyes is pretty useless with this set.
Zapdos (may replace with mega ampharos?) Nature: Timid? Ability: Pressure Item: Life Orb
Drill Peck isn't really that strong...but 90 base attack isn't horrible, I have very few physical moves on my team, and the poor bird still gets no special flying moves worth mentioning (or...any at all?). I'd go for Hidden Power but I don't hack to get the right IVs, and is HA as good this gen with the nerf? idk. Thunder Wave isn't usually a bad choice.
I don't particularly adore this thing, but my team is low on physical power. Drain Punch for recovery. Knock off is on there because...if a pokemon that wants to megavolve switches in on the turn that I use it, will it knock off their stone? Aqua Tail might do well in the rain and give me coverage against rock types. I've never used him before, nor fought against many, so any advice here on how to make him have synergy with the rest of my 'mons would be nice.
Electivire Nature: Adamant Ability: Motor Drive Item: Air Balloon
Meditate Electric Terrain Ice Punch Thunder Punch
Electric Terrain is pretty awesome; too bad Electivire isn't high on bulk to set it up.
Rotom-C OR Rotom-H Nature: Modest Ability: Levitate Item: ?
Trick Leaf Storm/Overheat Will-o-Wisp Hex
I originally had both of these guys on my team before I remembered about species clause. Which would have better synergy with the rest of my team?
Lanturn Nature: Bold? Impish? Ability: Water Absorb Item: Leftovers?
Soak Thunder Ice Beam Scald
Soak because all of my pokemon are electric. Scald to burn. The rest is self-explanatory.
Any advice will be considered (except troll advice). Thanks! --- 3DS FC: 2492-4122-1594 Check out my 'Tales of...' pattern thread! http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/997811-animal-crossing-new-leaf/66746695
