Well, Spore/SubPunch Breloom still trolls people pretty hard for me... You do have to remember not to Spore those Grass-Types, but he can still hit them pretty hard (or switch out to a grass counter) I'd say if you like Breloom, go for it. Technician breloom is still good. Tech boosted mach punch and spore will always have use on certain teams. Probably more of a niche pick now though

Dont see any use for poison heal now that infiltrator and sound moves bypass subs though

Breloom got several indirect nerfs, between spore not affecting grass types, low sweep being boosted up to 65 base power, and substitutes being able to be hit through (via infiltrator or sound based moves).
He's still good, but he has a lot more counters. Enough so he's probably too risky to be anything above low-OU. --- 3DS FC: 2449-4620-4409 AC town name: 'Murrica
It's not as though Infiltrator and users of Sound moves are terribly common. It just makes that moveset a bit easier to counter.
At least it can use Technician Rock Tomb in place of Low Sweep for a 90 BP Rock move with better accuracy then Stone Edge and the same speed lowering effect. --- Black 2 FC: 3654-8394-0937 3DS FC: 4511-1815-7291 (Flying Safari: Swanna, Spearow, Doduo)

The spore nerf is honestly the least of Breloom's troubles. More aggravating is the loss of Low Sweep as a fighting coverage move.

Well Grass types are immune to spore and stuff now.
So if you pop in Breloom they can switch out to a Grass or /Grass type and cancel out Spore and stuff. --- 3DS Friend Code: 3609 - 2155 - 4967 Trainer Name: Rob. Friend Safari - Fighting: Mankey, Throh, and Riolu. PM me if you add me so I can add you.

Around Pokemon Showdown, Spore is actually falling out of popularity. The most common Breloom sets are now Scarf sets and Swords Dance / Power Up Punch sets, with Rock Tomb taking the place of Low Sweep and getting those pesky Noiverns and Gale Force Talonflames on the switch. --- 3DS FC: Anthony | 2320-6462-6471 Pokemon FS: Wooper, Nincada, Palpitoad
