I'm curious as to how the time of evolution affects the stats of the pokemon.
1) Say I put a pokemon in the daycare center and evolve him way past his normal evolution level, are his stats any less than a pokemon that's been evolved since then? Not counting in EV's earned from battling. --- 3DS FC: 3024-5785-6894 IGN: Ven

It doesn't matter when you evolve them. All stats are scaled appropriately. Same with EV. Doesn't matter when you get them, it's all scaled appropriately to the level of pokemon. --- Official Lightning's shorts and Selphie's panties of every board. It doesn't matter what level you evolve them at. --- 3DS FC - 4983-5953-1311 Benja There are no rattlesnakes in Texas. It's just a myth.

As long as you don't level them so high they're unable to evolve, you're safe. (As in, don't level Bulbasaur to 99 because then you won't be able to level up twice.) It won't affect your stats in any way. --- "It felt like the music was aimed right at me... like a missile!" 3DS Friend Code: 1134 8242 9578

there are some moves that you'd miss sometimes(Hydro Pump for Swampert, for example. not that that's any good), and that's about the reason to evolve late. --- Now playing: Nocturne, Digital Devil Saga duology, Strange Journey, DeSu: OC, DeSu 2. Yeah, i'm on an SMT high.
