Priority EQ?

#1Zabie_WPosted 11/12/2013 4:36:40 AM
I just recently fought a Japanese player (I lost) where something strange happened.

He sent out Garchomp against my Aegislash.

Garchomp EQ Aegislash on Shield Form (Survive)
Aegislash attacks back with Hidden Power Ice (Survive, it's a mixed set)

Next turn, I select Shadow Sneak to finish him of, however
Garchomp EQ Aegislash first. Aegislash died, I lost (He still had his Mega Venusaur, so it's not like it really matters)

How did this happen? He had no quick claw activating whatsoever. So how could Garchomp attack before a Shadow Sneak?

Quick Claw wouldn't have mattered, because that doesn't change move priority. Are you sure you clicked Shadow Sneak and not something else by accident? I've done that before myself.

I'm quite sure that I clicked on Shadow Sneak. If there's no way for garchomp to get a priority EQ then I might have press a wrong attack, I just wanted to be sure that there's no other way that could have happened.

There is a berry that gives your attacks priority on the next turn - perhaps you activated one?

Custap only makes attacks in the same priority tier go first. Shadow Sneak has higher priority than EQ and therefore SS would've still gone first.

There is no priority EQ or whatever. I think you just misclicked.

If there's no way to make a priority EQ then the only possible answer is that I missclicked indeed.

Thanks for the input guys.

Well...it's not the ONLY possible answer. But people on this board are quick to assume that glitches can't possibly happen in these games. (Even after the Lumiose fiasco...)
