So a friend of mine told her it's a hell of a lot quicker to EV train on hordes than anything else, so I'd like some help.
I'll be EV training a Fletchling. It will have 252 Atk EVs, 252 Speed EVs and 4 HP EVs. I'll easily take care of the HP ones in a super training session, but the rest I'd like to take care of with horde training, so I'd just like to have some stuff addressed.
The Pokemon WILL have Pokerus. It WILL have the Power Bracer/Anklet.
I plan to have the helper be Greninja with surf who is already maxed out on EVs, weather or not that matters.
Say I run into a horde of Bellsprouts who grant +1 Atk ev. I have the exp share on. Fletchling is holding the Power Bracer. I use surf and take each bellsprout out in one hit.
+5 EVs are ready to distribute. Pokerus Doubles = +10 Power brace doubles = +20
Each time I take out a squad of Bellsprouts, Fletchling is given +20 attack EVs, correct? I repeat this process until 12 hordes are defeated, leaving my Pokemon with 240 Attack EVs and then get the remaining 12 through super training.
Do I have the right idea? --- Wii U Nintendo Network: Lightzeaka 3DS Friend Code: 4296-4396-5385
Actually, the Power item gives the +4 to the original +1 from defeating a Bellsprout, so that is +5 x 2 because of Pokerus giving 50 EV per horde. You have the right idea though, yeah. --- http://img696.imageshack.us/img696/1045/meantree.png - Thank you, Eulu.
