Masuda method odds ?

I just finished breeding my breeding my shiny heloptile at 975 eggs snow I'm trying for my charmander and I'm at 300+ eggs on it already is thier specific odds to masuda method ?

its 1/683 now with the increased odds,

don't worry comrade I'm at 730 ish eggs now with no shiny yet, we'll get it eventually !.

There's a 24% chance to not have a shiny after 975 eggs.

edit: oh, misread your post. There's a 64% chance to not have a shiny after 300 eggs.

best of luck to you too, and yes the odds increased, the shiny odds have roughly doubled since last gen which is nice.

That is not how probabilities work. It doesn't matter if he failed a thousand times, the probability that the next egg will be shiny is 1/683

Nobody said the probability of a Shiny increases. He just said there is certain chance that after a certain amount of tries, at least one egg contained a Shiny. The more tries, the more likely it is that at least one is a Shiny but the probability never reaches 100% simply because because the chances of the actual event don't increase.
