Are the mewtwo mega stones the only non buyable stones?

no matter what kanto starter you have, no matter what version of the game you own. Which stones are not buyable by any means?

The only ones you can buy are the kanto starter ones.

Earth is a silly place. Half the world has no clean water. And the other half has so much, they poo in it.

Well, technically they're both buyable (in the games as a whole), but of course, they are limited to their specific version.

So the only truly limited stone would be the Mewtwo ones since you have to have the other version. Thanks.

No. All Mega Stones are limited. You only get one of each per game. In regards to the stones you can buy, you can only purchase one of each (those being the stones for the two Kanto starters you didn't pick, and if one of those is Charizard, then you only get the version exclusive one for your game).

Yeah, I was saying the Kanto ones are the only ones you CAN buy. And yeah, you can only buy one of each.

The others you have to find, and you only find one of each, and many are limited to either X or Y.

What I meant to say is that its potentially possible to get every stone on your own except for the charizard and mewtwo stones cause you would need the other game. Mewtwo's stone is even more limited since it cannot be bought.

Manectric/Houndoom, Aggron/Tyranitar, and Pinsir/Heracross (I feel like I'm missing one more duo) are game exclusives as well.

There are quite a few version exclusives, sadly.
