My VGC team. (need some help)

#1Swamp-marsh-mudPosted 12/14/2013 7:46:46 AM
I have been building my trick room team, and it's been doing very well. However, I think it need some adjustments (some Pokemon can really make an hard time for me such as Amoonguss.) Could someone help me please?

anyway here's my team.

Trevenant @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Harvest
EVs: 252 HP / 160 SDef / 96 Atk
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Spd
- Trick Room
- Phantom Force
- Horn Leech
- Protect

Rhyperior @ Life Orb*
Ability: Solid Rock
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 HP / 252 SDef
Brave Nature
- Rock Slide
- Earthquake
- Megahorn
- Protect

Ampharos @ Ampharosite
Ability: Static
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Quiet Nature
- Discharge
- Protect
- Dragon Pulse
- Focus Blast

Slowking @ Mental Herb
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 SDef / 252 HP / 4 SAtk
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Spd
- Trick Room
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Protect

Salamence** @ Yache Berry
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 SAtk
Naive Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Earthquake
- Dragon Claw
- Protect

Lucario*** @ Chople Berry
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef
Timid Nature
- Aura Sphere
- Vacuum Wave
- Dark Pulse
- Detect

*I'm not sure If I should use an Life orb on Rhyperior. Rhyperior is a good teammate, but sometimes It dies too fast because of the recoil damage. Too bad I can't use Rock gem or Ground gem.

** Salamence has proven to be a good backup member of the team. Intimidate is very good, and It's flying type helps Rhyperior with spamming Earthquake if needed to. But I heard that Salamence isn't very good in doubles. I don't understand why because It really wrecks.

*** Lucario seems really obsolete for my team. It hasn't done anything special for my team( still love you Lucario). I think I might replace it with an fast Fire sweeper, but which one?

Note: I know I forgot to put some of the Pokemon's speed IV to 0, but I don't really notice anything different. Will fix that later. Also I wasn't sure were to post this topic.

Marowak > Rhyperior

get an infiltrator chandelure, breed it to get heat wave, and have it hold it an air balloon. it can sit next to rhy all day while it spams eq so long as nothing pokes it.

Slowking learns oblivious which protects against taunt now. You might want to use that over mental herb.
