Rate My Team

I loved all the support they gave for rain teams in this game, so I decided to make another one to test them all out to maybe improve my rain team on white 2. Suggestions and critiques are more than welcome.

Greninja(protean)@undecided(+spd, -atk)
31IVs in all except atk
252 spd, 252 spatk, 4 hp
Mat block
Dark pulse
Surf
Scald

Vaporeon(water absorb)@big root(+spdef, -atk)
31IVs in all except atk
252 hp, 252 spdef, 4 spd
Aqua ring
Rain dance
Helping hand
Scald

Heliolisk(dry skin)@undecided(+spd, -atk)
31IVs in all except atk
252 spd, 252 spatk, 4 hp
Eerie impulse
Thunder
Thunder wave
Volt switch

Kabutops(swift swim)@undecided(+atk, -spatk)
31 IVs in all except spatk
252 spd, 252 atk, 4 hp
Waterfall
Rain dance
Still deciding other moves

Dragonite(multiscale)@lum berry(undecided nature)
31 IVs in all except spatk
Undecided EVs
Outrage
Hurricane
Dragon dance
Roost

Scizor(technician)@scizorite(+atk, -spatk)
31 IVs in all except spatk
Undecided EVs
Bullet punch
U turn
Still deciding other moves

Any suggestions on how to improve this team? As you can see, there is still some stuff I'm not 100% sure on. I would like any input you can give me, especially on the undecided parts. Thanks!

It's a rain team. That's gonna happen. I have to wait until pokebank opens to transfer my Swampert over. I don't think elecricity is going to cripple me too much though. It will take at least two thunders to take out Vaporeon. And I don't think there are too many electric pokemon who will be able to tank a bullet punch from mega Scizor.

No Rotom-W?

Anyway, plenty of good Electrics. Thunderous-T even, come PBank, Raiku, Jolteon, Zapdos, maybe even Mega Manectric.

All decent for a Rain team. Storm Drain Gastrodon as well.

Rotom W is on my rain team on white 2. I'm just trying to test out some of the newer pokemon. I really like Heliolisk's design. Combine that with his ability, and I can't not try him out.

I am pretty set on the team that I posted until pokebank comes out. I'm really just asking for someone to critique my ev spreads and movesets. Guess I should've been more clear in the OP.

Your team looks solid, but you lack a volt absorber/decent electric user.

And electric immunity is never a bad thing to have, especially on a rain team.

Heliolisk, works I suppose....but it's inferior to other options. Still, if you want to use it I see no problems.

Not really a fan of that Dragonite set. You have two boosting/utility moves in DD and Roost, and only two attacking moves. Outrage is never something that's good to be locked into- (Dragon Claw would be better here) and Hurricane would you require to go mixed or non-Adamant (+Atk) to take full advantage of, further complicating EV's.

Furthermore, you're only boosting one move with that set (Outrage/Dragon Claw) so DD is somewhat of a waste other than the obvious nice speed boosts.

Honestly, I'd either focus on offensive Special/Mixed Nite, or go full Bulk/utility in its set with things like Dragon Claw/Tail, T-wave, Roost, etc.

Really just depends on the role you want it to do. Hydration/Rest Goodra would be another alternative or even Sap Sipper for the Grass attacks coming your way on Kabutops/Greninja/Vaporeon, netting you Spore Immunity and a nice boost for something like a physical Goodra.

Yeah I'm still not sure what I want out of my Dragonite yet. I have also considered Goodra. I'm thinking my team is too full of sweepers, so I might replace him with a hydration Goodra. I already have a tank and a mixed sweeper build Dragonite, each fully trained on white 2. I guess there's not really a point to training another so close to pokebank release.

Rest
Dragon pulse
Protect

Or drop the toxic stall and run rain dance and dragon tail or thunder. I'm not so sure about dragon tail, as I've heard they put restrictions on it this gen and I'm not so sure what they are.

Pardon me for sounding like an idiot, but what is Big Root doing on Vaporeon?

Aqua ring will normally heal your pokemon by 1/16th of its max hp. With big root, this changes to 30%.
