This is one of the reasons I've been trying to get Dittos with some 30 in case I want Hidden Powers on Genderless Pokemon. It is quite difficult to find them though at least for me.

If you have Black/White 2 then all of N's Pokemon you can get in that game have 30 IVs in every stat. Plus there's so many of them you can pretty much breed with any egg group, and they're all male.

That said Ditto is still useful for genderless Pokemon. That and Pokebank actually has to come out.

I haven't RNG'd or pokegened anything before. I assume getting 30's is the same as getting 31's, so I'm sure Hidden Power Dittos will show up soon enough.

HP breeding sucks.

I've been meaning to breed a HP Fire Venusaur, but the time it'll take is putting me off

I know what you mean. And the 60 base damage doesn't help motivate you either. At least Greninja has protean to make it worth it. But making steady progress made me keep going.

Well, with Venusaur, and Greninja, it'll effectively be base 90.

I'm doing Chloro, so Sun boosts Fire moves...

Remember the days where it took a month or 2 to breed a good IV Hidden Power Pokémon. The days where Destiny Knot didn't passed down 5 IVs, and the 3 IVs passed down by parents can be overridden by other IVs.

YEAH!!!

I was there, and I done it.

Most of the "perfect" Pokémon then has only 5 IVs, and a 20+. There aren't that great compared to newly bred Pokémon, but I still love them all the same. Ah... Charizard, it took 2000 eggs to get a 24/24/31/30/31/31 HP Grass 1. Those were the days...

I didn't think about that. I do want a competitive Venusaur. I might just try it if I can cross breed from the froakie somehow. ... Maybe

Congrats on that. But dont forget gender ratio and hatch time. Darn gender ratios. Trying to get female Froakies is worse than breeding for 30s.

I eventually bred perfect timid HP Fire male Bidoof first. This didn't take as long. Then used it with a female Froakie to get better and better results. This is one of the tips and tricks I discovered along the way.
