You don't see people saying the game's worthless because of Exp Share, just that Exp Share itself is a bad item.

Although in my experience, you can't simply leave it off for the full game either - leaving it on might have you at 10 levels above anything else at the end, but leaving it off had me 10 levels below by the eighth gym.

Who cares? Pokemon was never hard to begin with, idk why people complain so much when it's been easy pickin' since Gen 1.

That still doesn't change the fact that EXP Share makes it way too fast.

My first playthrough was 47 hours, no EXP Share.

I just finished up my second on my X copy (I usually play on Y), took me 22 hours. I used EXP Share.

I shouldn't have to force myself to not use a game feature to make the game more difficult.

You should if it's Pokemon.

Pokemon's a game that isn't geared toward the single player experience but the social experience of gaming while interacting with others <_<. Hence the millions of features that all involve interacting with another person yet the handful of single player things to do.
