You have been randomly selected to participate in the Beta Test of our new message list page. We've rolled out this test in order to get additional feedback and error reports from a wider subset of users. We'll only display this notice once, but permanent links to disable the Beta, provide feedback, and get more information will be located at the bottom of each message list.

To disable this test for now, click here. For more information, please read our announcement about this redesign.

If I had a Pokemon that used mean look on my opponent, what would happen if that opponent then used roar? Would my Pokemon be switched out or not? If they were switched out, would mean look still be in effect?

your pokemon would be switched out, and mean look would no longer be in effect

Mean Look (and trapping abilities like Arena Trap, Shadow Tag, Magnet Pull) only disallow you from choosing the switch pokemon option. Anything that forces a switch (Baton Pass, Roar, U-Turn, etc.) will still work.

Also, Mean Look/Block are only in effect while the USER is still on the field. The effect cannot be BP'd.
