Jolteons...

Why are you keeping the non-shinies? Why not just release them? And if you're doing this correctly, the average of hatching shinies will be around 700 eggs. If it's taking you that long to get a shiny, expect your next one to take a lot less time. My first shiny came at 252 eggs. I recently got another shiny at 604 eggs hatched. If the average is... 682? ... Then I would expect the next egg to hatch around 936 eggs. This would take my total average to 682 eggs to hatch per shiny.

Keep hatching! You'll get it. Don't give up.

I found a shiny Fletchhinder (Flame Body) in a Friend Safari and, of course, I had a Pokémon w/ a different I.D. # in the lead.

I have one quick question, and sorry if this was answered before.

I am breeding a JPN Dittio, with a Charmander i raised in my game. So since one of my pokemon is from another region, this is the Masuda method right? I just want to make sure I am doing it right, becuase I have hatch over 900 eggs and no shinny. Im guessing my luck suck lol.

Anyways, thanks for your answer

I'm up to 60 boxes now lol.
Originally I was just gonna sit and release them all once I was all done but now that I'm at 1,800 (JPN Vulpix and USA Vulpix being used) it's kind of moreso just to keep tabs on how many there are and because it would take hours with no mass release available (which would be a nice feature in the bank).
I've seen the Masuda work in person, as my girlfriend got both her shiny Noibat (32nd egg) and Axew (20th egg) very quickly without even trying by using the JPN ditto I gave her. The RNG just doesn't wanna give it to me I guess, still going at it a box or two a day.

I was on route 8, trying to catch a staryu for the pokedex and after several ecounters with pokemon, I somehow encountered a shiny clauncher. Looks amazing.
